We draw from a variety of diagnostic tools, and make use of pro-active treatments and natural remedies. A naturopathic physician strives to determine what has interfered with the body’s natural and self-correcting ability to restore and maintain health. We endeavor to guide you toward optimal well-being by promoting self-healing, disease prevention methods.
About Dr. Laurie Tutton | N.D. LAc
Dr. Tutton received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dominican College in San Rafael, California, and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University.
She practiced as a Dental Hygienist for seven years in British Columbia. While there, she observed how many patients were on countless medications taken for problems that conceivably could be remedied naturally through sensible, functional medicine, nutrition and lifestyle changes. This spawned her desire to pursue naturopathic medicine.
She went on to attain her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.) from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington in 1999. She thereafter attended National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon where she completed a one year residency in Family Medicine at its teaching clinic. She continued on at NCNM to complete a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Tutton is Board-Certified through National Licensing Examinations for both Naturopathic Medicine and Acupuncture. She has been in private practice for six years in the Mukilteo/Everett, Washington area.
